Stephen Waguespack spoke to a sold-out audience at the Chamber’s “Legislative Issues” luncheon today, in what turned out to be his last speaking engagement as Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s president and CEO. He resigned later this afternoon, declaring his candidacy for Louisiana’s governor. During the luncheon, Waguespack discussed LABI’s policy priorities for the upcoming 2023 legislative session, including those on economic development, education, tax policy and crime. Read more here.
