Our Chamber proudly awarded $1,000 scholarships to three outstanding high school seniors: Oscar Orellana and Samiya Melissa Beightol from Fontainebleau High School and Isaac Nguyen from Northshore High School. The scholarships, funded through our successful 2025 Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament, reflect our commitment to fostering local talent. We thank everyone who sponsored or participated in the tournament that made these scholarships possible.
St. Tammany Parish School Superintendent Frank Jabbia joined Chamber CEO Lacey Osborne and Membership Director Meredith Wright for the presentations last week, alongside representatives from key Chamber investors including American Bank, CGB Enterprises, Zen-NOH Grain, Lakeview Hospital, Ochsner Health, Visit The Northshore and Slidell Memorial Hospital. Selected from a competitive pool of applicants, these deserving students maintained GPAs above 3.0 and submitted essays and recommendation letters. All three scholarship recipients will attend LSU in Baton Rouge this fall.
