INSTALLATION & AWARDS LUNCHEON

Held in January, the annual Installation & Awards Luncheon is an opportunity to thank the outgoing Board of Directors for their dedication and welcome the incoming Board Members for the new term. This occasion celebrates the Chamber’s success from the previous year, and looks forward to prospects for the year to come. The parish’s premier business awards are also presented during the evening including the impressive Tammany Award, which goes to the local business of the year, and the Community Leadership Award. We also recognize our hard-working members that give so much, such as the Board Member of the Year, Member of the Year, Ambassador of the Year and Committee of the Year awards.

St. Tammany Chamber at Washington Mardi Gras: Building Relationships and Showcasing the Northshore

Each year, our Chamber participates in Washington Mardi Gras, a multi-day celebration in Washington, D.C., that honors Louisiana culture while providing premier networking opportunities with business leaders, elected officials and policy influencers. What began in the 1940s as a gathering for homesick congressional staffers has evolved into a signature event combining tradition, economic dialogue and celebration.

A highlight of our Chamber’s annual presence is our “It’s a Shore Thing” reception, hosted in partnership with the St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation and Visit The Northshore. In 2026, our reception welcomed more than 150 elected officials and business leaders, offering a platform for St. Tammany Parish to showcase its economic strengths, leadership and quality of life. Attendees have the opportunity to connect with policymakers, strengthen business relationships, and discuss economic development priorities.

We thank the generous sponsors of our 2026 reception: St. Tammany Parish Government, LOPA, Acquistapace’s, Money Hill Golf & Country Club, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Co., and Kyle Associates, LLC, for supporting this signature event.

In addition to the reception, Chamber representatives attend marquee events such as the annual Economic Development Luncheon, where statewide and federal leaders highlight Louisiana’s economic opportunities and growth. Through these engagements, the Chamber elevates St. Tammany Parish’s visibility, strengthens policy and business relationships, and reinforces its ongoing commitment to regional economic development.

We also had the opportunity to co-host the 2024 Economic Development Luncheon with the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, spotlighting St. Tammany Parish before statewide elected and business leaders.
