Several members of our Chamber staff attended the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE) Annual Conference in Baton Rouge last week, bringing back ideas and insights on advocacy, economic development, workforce development and membership.
“We left inspired and ready to bring these ideas back to the Northshore,” said Vice President Michelle Biggs, who serves on the LACCE board and chairs its Awards Committee.
Biggs also helped recognize outstanding Chamber professionals and organizations from across Louisiana during the conference. Our Chamber was among this year’s LACCE Service Award recipients, with CEO Lacey Osborne recognized for 35 years of service, Biggs for 10 years and Communications Director Connie Ernst for five years of service in the chamber profession.
The conference gave Chamber staff an opportunity to learn from colleagues across Louisiana, share ideas and bring new perspectives back to the Northshore.
