The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce awarded $1,000 scholarships to three outstanding St. Tammany high school seniors: Aubree Arthur of Mandeville High School, Leah James of Lakeshore High School and Gianna LeBreton of Slidell High School. The scholarships were funded with proceeds from the Chamber’s March 2026 Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament.
St. Tammany Parish School Superintendent Frank Jabbia joined St. Tammany Chamber CEO Lacey Osborne and Membership Director Meredith Wright for the presentations, alongside representatives from Chamber investor organizations including CGB Enterprises, Lakeview Hospital, Ochsner Health, and OnPath Federal Credit Union.
“Our Chamber is committed to business growth and keeping local talent in our community,” said Wright. “We started our annual scholarship golf tournament to support this mission. Our selection committee was very impressed with the many competitive applications received, and we are proud to award scholarships to these deserving students.”
Applications were open to St. Tammany Parish residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and planning to attend a Louisiana college or university. Applicants submitted a 250-word essay on what influenced their decision to pursue a college degree and two letters of recommendation from non-family members.
Aubree Arthur and Gianna LeBreton will attend University of Louisiana at Lafayette this fall. Leah James will attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge this fall.
