On Saturday, October 11, voters in the City of Slidell will head to the polls to elect their next mayor. This important local election will help shape the direction of the community for years to come.
Our Chamber, in partnership with the Northshore Business Council, East St. Tammany Business Alliance, Northshore Home Builders Association and United Way of Southeast Louisiana, recently launched a voter awareness campaign to encourage participation in this election. Through social media outreach, email, yard signs and print advertising, the coalition is working to remind residents of key voting dates and the importance of civic engagement.
Our role is to promote informed participation and strengthen our community by encouraging citizens to make their voices heard. We urge all eligible voters in Slidell to be informed, make a plan and take part in this important election. Your vote matters—and it helps shape the future of our region.
