Slidell Mayoral Candidate Forum Draws Nearly 250 Voters

On July 23, the St. Tammany Chamber proudly hosted the first forum in the special election for Mayor of Slidell. Nearly 250 registered voters attended, gaining a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates—Slidell Interim Mayor Bill Borchert and Slidell Chief of Police Randy Fandal—and engage with the issues shaping their community.

As the voice of business in St. Tammany Parish, our Chamber regularly hosts candidate forums for local, legislative, Senate and gubernatorial races. These events give voters the information they need to make informed decisions while encouraging active participation in the democratic process.
