The Chamber’s popular “State of” breakfast series turned its focus to education, drawing over 90 attendees and providing members with valuable updates and insights from some of the region’s most prominent education leaders.

Key speakers included St. Tammany Parish School System Superintendent Frank Jabbia, Northshore Technical Community College Chancellor Dr. Jim Carlson, and Southeastern Louisiana University President Dr. William Wainwright. Each shared updates on their institutions’ achievements, challenges and goals, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to excellence in education on the Northshore.

Adding a state-level perspective, Representative Kim Carver, a key member of the House of Representatives Education Committee, shared insights from his first legislative session last spring, highlighting recent developments and future priorities in Louisiana’s education policies.
