LOLA is the Chamber’s 2021 Golden Spoon—Covington Award recipient as a restaurant excelling in customer service, top-notch food service and going above and beyond for its patrons.
Established in January 2006 by husband-and-wife team Keith and Nealy Frentz, this incredible restaurant is located in historic downtown Covington in the old train depot. Over the past 15 years Keith and Nealy have received numerous accolades for LOLA, including Louisiana Cookin’ Magazine’s “Chefs to Watch” in 2009; King and Queen of Louisiana Seafood in 2012; and Food Network’s “Chopped” in 2013.
LOLA serves simple southern fare from Chefs Keith and Nealy Frentz. They are always looking for room to grow and ways to better the community, support Covington farmers, and support local seafood suppliers.
The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual Business Appreciation Luncheon in November 2021. Accepting the award were Nealy and Keith Frentz.
