Chamber leaders from throughout the Greater New Orleans region gathered at the Jefferson Chamber on June 10, 2026, for a quarterly roundtable discussion on upcoming events and advocacy issues affecting their business communities.

GNO, Inc. External Affairs Officer Jasmine Brown DeRousselle provided an overview of key legislation that passed during the recent legislative session, including the high-impact jobs program, workforce development initiatives, site development funds, carbon capture legislation and measures related to carbon capture. She also discussed the continued trend of stabilizing tort reform legislation from previous sessions.

Participants in the quarterly roundtables include leaders from the New Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, River Region, Tangipahoa and St. Bernard chambers.
