In recognition of National Travel and Tourism Week, the Chamber welcomed Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser as guest speaker for a sold-out luncheon on May 4, 2026, focused on Tourism’s Economic Impact in Louisiana. Attendees heard about the important role tourism plays in supporting Louisiana’s economy, businesses and communities. Louisiana welcomed 45 million visitors in 2025, generating $19.5 billion in visitor spending and supporting more than 225,000 jobs statewide.
