The 2025 Chamber Member of the Year Award recognizes an individual who consistently goes above and beyond—someone whose commitment, leadership and service make a meaningful impact on both the Chamber and our business community.
This year, we are proud to recognize Matthew Guidry with nola.com, The Advocate, The Times-Picayune, and The St. Tammany Farmer as our 2025 Chamber Member of the Year.
Matt does far more than simply show up. He is engaged, dependable and always willing to help wherever he’s needed. Matt arrives early, stays late, jumps in without being asked and looks for ways to support fellow members and strengthen the organization as a whole.
Throughout his time with the Chamber, he has stepped into leadership roles that reflect both his dedication and his ability to bring people together. He previously helped guide and energize one of our most engaged member groups, and today continues to serve at a high level in a leadership role focused on strengthening how the Chamber connects, communicates and shares its story. In every setting, Matt brings collaboration, insight and a practical appreciation for how good communication helps the work come together.
What truly sets Matt apart is how he shows up for others. He is approachable, dependable and generous with his time—qualities that make people feel welcome and valued. His professionalism and enthusiasm make him a true ambassador for the Chamber and a trusted voice among his peers.
