This year, we are proud to honor Alan Thriffiley of Taxdrop LLC with the 2025 Chairman’s Award.
Over the past three years, Alan has been honored with two of the Chamber’s distinguished awards, each acknowledging a different facet of his commitment to servant leadership. Regardless of that previous recognition, this award celebrates his continued dedication to the Chamber and community.
Earlier this year, Alan, together with other leaders of the ChamberPAC Transparency Committee, devoted countless hours to researching the parish government budget, digging into complex data and translating it into clear, accessible information. His efforts have helped shine a light on the government accounting method known as Cost Allocation and, more importantly, contributed to potential future solutions. Through transparency, persistence and integrity, Alan and the Transparency Committee team have begun to help rebuild trust between government agencies and the citizens they serve.
Alan’s work reminds us that accountability is not abstract—it is built through time, effort and a genuine commitment to the public good. His dedication to transparency and trust exemplifies the spirit of servant leadership that this award celebrates.
