JD Bank’s Northshore location was honored with the Out-of-the-Gate Running Award during the Chamber’s 2025 Business Appreciation Awards Luncheon, recognizing a business that has been in the community for less than three years but already makes a big impact.

While new to the Northshore, JD Bank brings a legacy of success that spans 78 years and deep roots across southwest Louisiana. Known for trust, personal relationships and a strong commitment to community, the bank has brought that same approach to the Northshore, assembling an exceptional local team dedicated to delivering their signature style of personalized banking in St. Tammany.

In just three years, the team has made a remarkable impact on our community. They have formed meaningful partnerships, dedicated countless volunteer hours, and supported local nonprofits, including United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s Red Beans ‘N’ Rice Cook-Offs and the Northshore Humane Society. Their involvement shows a commitment to making the Northshore stronger, more vibrant and more connected—all while introducing their exceptional style of community banking to our area.

As “Louisiana’s Community Bank,” they exemplify how business success and community service can go hand in hand, and how dedication to people—both customers and neighbors—creates lasting impact.

The 2025 Out-of-the-Gate Running Award was accepted by Senior Vice President and Regional Marketing Executive Jackelyn Gallo, and presented by Lauren Navarre of Arena Collective.
