Every successful team has people working hard behind the scenes to make things happen. During our Installation & Awards Luncheon in January 2025, we presented Alan Thriffiley of Taxdrop Personal & Business Taxes with our 2024 Board Member of the Year Award.
For more than 15 years, Thriffiley has been a key part of our Chamber’s success. As a member of both the Board’s Executive Committee and the Advocacy and Public Policy Committee, his strong research skills and careful analysis have helped guide our Chamber in making smart decisions. While committee chairs often get the spotlight, it’s the work that happens between meetings that truly matters. Thriffiley is known for diving deep into complex issues and reading through long reports to help our Chamber understand important community matters. His work helps our members make informed choices, especially when it comes to voting on issues that affect our local business community.
As a tax professional certified by the IRS, Thriffiley brings his eye for detail to all his Chamber work. Whether he’s attending city council meetings or working with government and business leaders, he makes sure no important detail is missed. His quiet but important contributions have helped our members understand everything from new policies to ballot measures. He takes complicated information and helps make it clear for our business community.
