At our Annual Installation and Awards Luncheon on January 14, 2025, the 2024 Tammany Award was presented to Ampirical, an exceptional business that exemplifies leadership in its field and unwavering commitment to the welfare of St. Tammany Parish. The award was presented to CEO Matthew Saacks by Ronnie Simpson with Ochsner Health, the 2018 Tammany Award recipient.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Covington, Ampirical has grown into a nationwide leader in electrical engineering, dedicated to shaping the future of energy infrastructure. From designing transmission and distribution lines to implementing substations and protection systems, their sustainable practices ensure communities have reliable, resilient energy systems prepared for today and tomorrow.
In 2024, Ampirical reached incredible milestones, securing a strategic growth investment and earning national acclaim as one of the Inc. 5,000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. They were also recognized as a Top Workplace both nationally and by The Times-Picayune and New Orleans Advocate. Their commitment to environmental and social responsibility earned them Entergy’s 2024 Premier Supplier Award, further highlighting their leadership in sustainable energy solutions.
Ampirical’s impact extends beyond their industry. In 2024, they supported numerous community organizations, including the Samaritan Center, Habitat for Humanity and Safe Harbor. Their annual charity golf tournament raised $30,000 for STEM education, and in December, they donated $5,500 in holiday gifts to Safe Harbor, ensuring a brighter season for local families. Their contributions also benefited St. Tammany Children’s Hospital, NAMI, Northshore Food Bank and the Northshore Humane Society.
On behalf of the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and our more than 1,100 business members, we proudly congratulate Ampirical on this well-deserved honor. Their leadership, innovation and dedication to our community are truly inspiring.
