Keep Slidell Beautiful celebrated the last day of Love the Boot week on Sunday, April 23, with litter pick-ups and beautification. Our Northshore Young Professionals were happy to help them get Olde Towne festival ready using their new Keep America Beautiful clean-up kits!
Love the Boot Week is Louisiana’s largest statewide litter removal and beautification effort, and helps bring attention to our state’s litter problem. It took place April 17-23, 2023! In 2022, 8,476 volunteers removed 293 tons of litter at 280 events in 54 parishes.
