Luke Pankey, a senior at Lakeshore High School has been a student intern at our Chamber since school started last fall, helping us with various projects while learning firsthand about businesses and Chamber operations. This is Luke’s last week and we are happy for him as he graduates and goes to college. Here’s something about Luke in his own words…

“I have been playing soccer for the past 13 years and was the varsity captain for Lakeshore; I am an avid chess player and like a great mental challenge; and I love to watch sports in my free time. These hobbies fill up my spare time as well as hanging out with friends and family. Regarding my future, I plan to major in Finance and then get a master’s degree in investment banking. Investment banking is what I want my future to be in due to the excitement that is involved as well as the risk. I will be doing all of this at Tulane University. Tulane has a fabulous business department with the Freeman School of Business, and this has reinforced my determination to attend Tulane. I toured Tulane with my parents to experience what the school was like, and it exceeded all expectations. The campus is beautiful with friendly people which helped me choose Tulane as my college. Go Green Wave!”
