Lakeview Regional Medical Center is the Chamber’s 2021 Go Give Award recipient for encouraging employee involvement in the community, whether it is by giving of time or money to a worthy cause.
The amount of “giving” by this award recipient is incredible! Lakeview’s employees provide on average over 2,000 volunteer hours annually at sponsored events, including Boo Fest, the Autism Walk, the Firefighter Cancer Support Network event, Girls Health Day, Breakfast with Santa, the American Heart Association Walk, and the Alzheimer’s Walk.
They also sponsor and volunteer at many offsite events including Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build, National MS Bike 150, the annual United Way campaign, Chef Soiree, Project Graduation, STOPS–Suicide Prevention, and at many schools, sporting events, and park-sponsored events.
The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual Business Appreciation Luncheon in November 2021. Accepting the award was Kim Melvin.
