"Think Chamber First"
The 1,000 plus members that make up our St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce represent a wide array of business sectors in our community. Though diverse, they are all connected by a common goal, that their membership will add value to their business. Studies show that consumers view chamber businesses as having more credibility than non-member businesses. Within our chamber, member-to-member business relationships are common and are encouraged. In an effort to even further facilitate this unique connection between our members, our chamber will launch a “Think Chamber First” campaign.
This campaign will encourage member to member business. Our web site and weekly email updates will contain information about the campaign and connecting members with members. Chamber members will be able to submit coupons for the web site and offer member-to-member discounts.
With our new web site, it is now easier than ever for both members AND non-members to locate a member business through our membership directory. Web site users can search by category, keywords or business name to find a company. In addition, chamber members are given plaques to display at their businesses to show their membership with the St. Tammany West Chamber.
The goal of this campaign is to help members, and even non-members, to “think chamber first” when deciding which business to patron. Continue to follow other chamber communication efforts for updated information on the campaign.
